NHH Launches Anti-Hate Toolkit

After months of behind-the-scenes work, several community organizations are excited for the co-launch of three important projects to support inclusion in Hamilton.

Hamilton’s Anti-Hate Toolkit is the action component of the Community Response to Hate. It includes concrete action steps for stakeholders at all levels: municipal, provincial and federal governments; justice, health and emergency services; the education sector; non-governmental organizations; employers; faith institutions; and individuals. The recommendations in the toolkit promote accountability for our collective journey to create an inclusive Hamilton.

The Belonging Pledge is an invitation to individuals and institutions to commit to being anti-hate champions in Hamilton.

NHH is pleased to be co-launching these projects alongside our partners in Hamilton For All.

Hamilton for All is a multi-faceted campaign led by several community groups in Hamilton to promote inclusion and belonging, elevate the voices of equity-seeking groups in Hamilton and build capacity against hate and bigotry of all kinds. This launch event will bring individuals together to showcase widespread advertisements featuring marginalized groups, hear from those with lived experience and showcase a new dedicated website for getting involved.
